Day 01. ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive late evening in Delhi where our representative will meet you outside the customs area and escort you to your hotel. He will then assist you in checking in.

Day 02. IN DELHI
After an early breakfast today we will take you for a tour of Old and New Delhi.

Old Delhi - A visit to the fortified old city of Delhi with its crumbling walls, 17th century havelis (mansions) and narrow galis (lanes) teeming with people and commerce is a journey to another world. We will drive past the majestic Red Fort built of Red sandstone from 1639 - 1648 AD by Emperor Shah Jehan and then visit Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque of Asia built in 1650 AD by Shah Jehan. After the visit we will also enjoy a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk (the silver market of the bygone era). This will be followed by a visit to Rajghat - memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi.

New Delhi - India's capital city is a medley of history and culture juxtaposed with the new and the brash. We will visit the Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, followed by a visit to Qutab Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibek. Drive past the secretarial offices and the Parliament house. Visit the India Gate war memorial and Connaught Place, the city center of New Delhi.

Taj Mahal Agra
Day 03. DELHI - AGRA (131 MILES)
After an early breakfast, drive on to Agra, stopping enroute at Sikandra, the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. It is built of red sandstone inlaid with marble. Upon reaching the city of Agra, you will check into a hotel and relax for sometime.

Later in the afternoon we visit the beautiful Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Emperor Shah Jehan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. It's a symbol of enduring love. This will be followed by a visit to the Agra fort, built by Emperor Akbar. The maze of its courtyards, mosque and private chambers echoes the story of the Mughal Empire. The view of the Taj from this fort is spectacular.

Day 04. AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (146 MILES)
This morning after an early breakfast we drive on to the city of Jaipur and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri , the city of victory. It was built by Emperor Akbar but was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.

We continue our surface journey to Jaipur, the Pink City. It is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills and forts and palaces.

Check in upon arrival and relax for the rest of the evening at the hotel or enjoy a short orientation tour of the city.

Hawa Mahal Jaipur Day 05. IN JAIPUR
After breakfast we drive on to Amber Fort, where we will ascend to the fort on elephant back (depending on availability of elephants). Later we proceed to visit City Palace, which was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. It has been the principal residence for the Maharajas of Jaipur. The main attraction is its museum, which houses paintings, clothes and armories. Later visit Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind).

In the evening enjoy a walk through the local markets of Jaipur and feel the pulse of the city around you.

Day 06. JAIPUR - BIKANER (221 MILES)
This morning after an early breakfast, you head for Bikaner. Arrive late in the afternoon and check into a hotel. Relax in the evening after the long drive.

Day 07. BIKANER - JAISALMER (208 MILES)
After breakfast, visit the Junagarh Fort. Maharaja Raj Singh built this fort between 1588 - 93. It has a 986mt long wall with 37 bastions, a moat and two entrances. It is situated at a height of 700ft above sea level and towers over the city.

After the visit to the fort, we continue our journey to Jaisalmer. Arrive early evening and check into the hotel.

If time permits one can take an optional excursion to Sam sand dunes to view the sunset.

Desert in Jaiselmer Day 08. IN JAISALMER
This morning after breakfast visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort. It is situated over the Trikuta hills and within its walls is the old city. One gets to see beautiful havelis - Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh and Nathmalji Ki Haveli and Jain temples, which too are within the fort.

Later in the evening enjoy the sunset from Khuri sand dunes

Day 09. JAISALMER - JODHPUR (204 MILES)
This morning after breakfast proceed by road to Jodhpur. Arrive early in the afternoon and check into a hotel.

Later in the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort - it is situated at an altitude of 125mts and is spread over an area of 5 sq. kms in the heart of Jodhpur. Also visit Jaswant Thada, Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal.

Day 10. JODHPUR - RANAKPUR - UDAIPUR (163 MILES)
This morning after breakfast drive on to the city of lakes called Udaipur visiting the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur enroute.

Rana Kumbha built the temples at Ranakpur in the 15th century AD. There are 1444 columns in all and they are intricately carved.

Enjoy an authentic vegetarian lunch at Maharani Bagh Orchards.

Arrive in Udaipur later in the evening and relax after checking into a hotel.

udaipur Day 11. IN UDAIPUR
In the morning after breakfast, we take you on an excursion to Eklinji and Nagda. Eklinji is associated with Lord Shiva and a few of the temples date back to the 10th century. Chiseled out of sandstone and marble, the main temple enshrines a four-faced Shiva with an enormous double storied mandap, under a huge pyramidal roof. Nagda is the ancient capital of Mewar, lying midway between Udaipur and Nathdwara and located next to the Bagela Lake. There is a group of 108 temples here. Legend has it that it was founded by Nagaditya, the fourth Mewar King in the 6th century and was a stronghold of the Sisodia Empire.

Later in the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Crystal museum, Saheliyon ki Bari garden and Jagdish temple.

Day 12. UDAIPUR - DELHI BY FLIGHT
Have a relaxed morning today. After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to connect to the afternoon flight to Delhi. You will arrive in Delhi late in the afternoon. Either you can relax in the lobby of the airport hotel or do your last minute shopping before proceeding to the airport to connect to your flight for onward destination.

Day 13. LEAVE DELHI
Transfer to the airport in time to connect to the flight for onward destination.
